Automated Light Deprivation System

We designed and manufacture our own commercial grade, state of the art, premium, fully automated light deprivation greenhouse system which mounts directly to our Sierra and Alpine Series greenhouse structures. Protected from the weather and easily accessible. Our advanced breathable blackout fabric slides along the framework inside the greenhouse into a high grade, C-Channel Closure system, eliminating light leakage.

Manual – Helping Hand

The Helping Hand is our non-motorized, cost effective solution for draping blackout fabric over any greenhouse/hoop house. We provide installation instructions. The system does not come with black out fabric. We sell several fabric options that work directly with the Helping Hand.

Three Layer Proprietary Black-out Curtains

Our three-layer, blackout curtains are used in all of our automated light deprivation systems. BonarAgro breathable, black-out fabric provides the most durable, highest air flow, and darkest, flame-retardant blackout fabric we have tested. We spent several years field testing different breathable, blackout fabrics, this product meets the GTS standard.

Galvanized Steel

Having the sturdiest and strongest steel as the frame for our greenhouse is necessary for the conditions that occur outdoors. The galvanized square tubing provides a durable, long lasting structure.

Metal Siding

Corrugated Metal siding improves the structural integrity of the entire structure by adding sheer value which improves the strength and longevity of your greenhouse. It also provides enhanced security and lasts longer than polycarbonate. All our metal siding is produced in the United States and made to endure any weather conditions.

Metal Light Trap Housings

Our light trap housings are fabricated with the same gauge steel as our exhaust fans - providing superior strength and longevity. Some companies use plastic housings, which warp with sun exposure.

Premiere Cover Options

All poly woven, and polycarbonate materials are not equal. A cover isn’t just a cover.—Delete the sentences in red. Our Solarig polywoven is far more durable than other options. The Polygal, reinforced, polycarbonate sheets are an ideal material for the construction of private and industrial greenhouse structures because of their excellent light transmission, light diffusion, and thermal insulation qualities. Special anti-fog surface treatments help to increase the amount of light admitted even in bad weather.

Automated Control Systems

There are many factors that can impact what is needed for each system including the altitude, average humidity, average temperature, and maximum lows and highs for each. For all of this, we draw on our experience to provide the best possible automated system for your specific structure.

Premium Components

We have selected the best components to work as a system. Like a team a weak component can reduce the overall operation of your system. This is why we use select equipment in the system. Our heaters, dehumidifiers, fans, louvers, and cooling systems are the right mix to provide quality and durability to enable a premium system.

EASE OF MAINTENANCE

Our patent pending design allows the user to replace the curtains without rebuilding the system. Other systems require cutting guidewires and cutting the new fabric around the greenhouse trusses.

Our system dramatically reduces the amount of time spent replacing the curtain.
